Great River is a new independent school in Ottawa whose curriculum is inspired by Waldorf education.
Our developmentally appropriate curriculum reflects a deep reverence for the natural world and the history of humanity through subjects including the sciences, humanities, and the arts. We strive to provide an educational environment free of the noise and distractions so common today, enabling children to learn with unburdened minds. We also believe the physical qualities of a school are essential to the educational experience.
